1. The individual character of dogs
multiplication of the more
dogs the better. There is large number of
dogs that look like a breed, but inside they are not at all like what they should have been. A pedigree does not guarantee the quality of a puppy .
Finding a good specimen of a certain breed is difficult, you should dedicate a lot time to your search. Even for an expert it is not easy.
Much more important is the individual character of a dog. Every dog is born with a disposition, some are born more submissive, others more dominant, fearful, independent, etc ... and all these characteristics come in many variations. We my have 4 German Shepherds, brothers of the same litter, and each with a different character. So different that one is a pet par excellence, and his brother so pervasive that few

recording the ancestry of
dogs.
With the passage of time a record, a pedigree and a stud book were created for all breeds. In exhibitions and competitions the best exponents of breeds were chosen and those
dogs were registered in the Books of Origen as the founding generations. After some time the books of origins were closed, meaning that from than on new
dogs that were not yet registered were no longer admitted. Only descendants of
dogs appearing in these books of Origen were entered. From now on, only
dogs born to pedigree
dogs were regarded as "purebred". The entire breed were to be supplied from the genetic material recorded before the closure of the Book of Origins of each breed.
This change of genetically more or less open-blooded groups into sealed

of problematic
dogs .
We work in the province of Cádiz (Spain).
Our trainer is certified in Therapeutic Center "Lelystad" (Netherlands) and has extensive experience in dealing with difficult
dogs.
We started to work in 1996, and so far we have had over 3000 pupils.
Thanks to this, apart from having received a good theoretical and practical preparation, we have extensive experience with the education and rehabilitation of in occasions very problematic
dogs .
Our main interest is in the rehabilitation of difficult
dogs, simply because if you do not achieve to "normalize"
this kind of dog it often means its destruction. The vast majority of these
dogs have become what they are because
of the ignorance of the people with whom they live. We find

behavior toward other
dogs. These defects usually occur much more frequently in males.
When deciding on a puppy the character of the parents should be taken into account. In breeds of this group (guard and defense
dogs) it is common practice amongst breeders to breed different character lines.
dogs are raised rather to serve for deterring by their simple presence, without a predisposition to act. These
dogs are the best ones to have as a family dog. Other lines are used to do guard and defense work, but, in collaboration with a guide. This type of dog should be in the hands of an experienced owner who can manage a dog with a tendency to act. Finally, other
dogs are bred for working alone, guarding and defending properties to repell intruders on their own.
6. Is my dog like a person?
of behavioral problems in
dogs
The title of this article is the most repeated phrase in the interviews we have in our school with the owners of problem
dogs.
Why is it wrong to give a lot of affection to my dog?
Because your dog is not a human being, it is a dog. They are animals with different characteristics than us.
dogs do not respond the same way to human treatment as a person. No matter how much we want then to, they will never be like us. Let me make it clear that we must give love and affection to our
dogs.
The important thing is that you know how to dose and find the right moments for it. Equally important is knowing how to correct properly, correctly dosed and in the right moment. Do not ever forget a basic rule for a correct coexistence
7. Characteristics of the Golden and Labrador Retriever
another.
They are not
dogs for everyone, because the origin of the hound gave a lot of energy and desire to move. To an owner that can not devote enough time to the amount of exercise that requires a Retriever I recommend to find another less energetic breed.
A Retriever which can not have regular exercise usually turns out to be a hyperactive dog that's very difficult to control. They are
dogs that do not bear having to spend much of the day alone. As its name suggests (Retriever = collector) his great desire is to collect objects. They love water, since its original use is the collection of water birds (ducks).
They are equipped with a very sensitive nose, a quality that we can use when playing (searching!).
Both breeds are very nice and somewhat
8. Characteristics of the Boxer
and often hyperactive
dogs. This, coombined with his strong body and strong will make him less recommendable for a family with small children. Despite being a great friend of children, they often are not as careful as needed and just too overwhelming. A Boxer is always happy and playful, but in the games they usually become rather heavy and intrusive.
Many individuals suffer from hyperactivity as a genetic defect, those
dogs are very difficult to get to stay relaxed because any stimulus excites them enormously.
Especially males may end up pretty agressive towards other
dogs. With their strong, athletic body and their courage they can become formidable attackers.
They can learn easily, but require a patient and persistent owner, capable of imposing
9. Characteristics of the Siberian Husky
They are quite primitive
dogs which have not been domesticated in the sense of having lived closely with humans over a long period. Until recently they only had to pull the sleds of the Eskimos in the polar area. They have¡ been selected for this purpose, which has led to, among others, their great need to move a lot. They are capable of traveling long distances every day. 50 km. for a Husky is like a walk around the block. His main interest is to reach the horizon, without not being worried in the slightest by the fact that he'll never reach it. To be like this he needs to be very independent, because to be able to do the job of running non-stop one can not be distracted by anything. Those responsible for his upbringing (the Eskimos) did not give much value to
10. What is the best age to start teaching my dog?
to those who own young
dogs. Most of them come to our School with
dogs aged between 6 months and 1 year old. They tell us that "an expert" in canine education mentioned that it is not possible to teach anything to a dog until a certain age. This age, according to "the expert", lies between 6 months and 1 year old. Oddly enough the dog owners come to us quite desperate, telling how nobody at home can control the dog. What started as a funny puppy became within a year a wild animal making everyone's lives miserable.
I feel sorry for the owners "traumatized" by their 8 months old "puppy", asking if the dog will get traumatized with the obedience training classes, as "someone told them..."
Fortunately for all those bothered owners, I can inform them that, at
